We have available a new series of engine management computer called the TSI Pro Sequential which works like a combination of stand-alone and interceptor ecu’s. With it’s own injector drivers it
is possible to tune your car with larger and different impedance injectors in a way which won’t affect the factory features such as closed loop-cruise, idle or part throttle response. The unit is easily wired into your car’s original loom and intercepts both incoming and outgoing signals going to your stock ecu. This allows it to change ignition timing independently of your fuel injector pulses which it’s competitors cannot do. It is also a far more versatile system then a simple chip change in that it is programmable in real-time, something which is critical since even small variations in environmental conditions affect the tune of your car. We have already had numerous Ford XR6 Turbo's tuned with great success using the Pro Sequential. The cars had larger injectors, intercoolers and valve springs yet the TSI was able to keep the stock factory features of smooth cruising and idle while at the same time delivering the different tune needed for 10psi of boost and 305kw at the wheels (360rwkw+ packages available on request). Advantages:- DOES NOT affect standard knock sensing, closed loop fuel control or idle speed control. ALL existing features of the car will be retained.- Can control HIGH or LOW resistance injectors. Replace standard injectors with larger capacity and low resistance. - Built in turbo OVER BOOST fuel cut eliminator. - Ideal for applications such as supercharging or turbo charging naturally aspirated engines. - DOES NOT affect or alter the standard factory EFI system. The TSI unit can be easily removed if required in minutes. Tuning:- Ignition timing and fuel mixture changes are totally independent, unlike some other computers.- Tune Fuel Mapping to any required air/fuel ratio. Adjust fuel flow by –99% to +150% - Alter Ignition Timing to any required value by advancing or retarding up to 50 degrees - Tune using Manifold Pressure or Throttle Position. - Powerful Engine DATALOGGER is a standard feature - EASY to use PC software allows all settings to be programmed "real time" and permanently stored. - EACH Fuel, Ignition and Stand Alone Map is made of 17 load points every 500rpm up to 10,000 rpm. This makes for very fine tuning resolution. - Helpful software tuning tools include: - Engine load and rpm history indicator. - Quick key to jump to current engine load. - Separate software Fuel, Ignition trim. - Warning indicator when fuel injector duty cycle is nearing 100%. - Quick copy of load points to entire column or row. Supplementary Fueller:Can be used instead as a powerfully featured supplementary injector controller for up to 8 low impedance injectors AND still control ignition timing, boost and two auxiliary outputs.Datalogger:Comprehensive real time and data logged engine data parameters allow for analysis of:- Air/Fuel ratio. - Fuel injector duty cycle and opening duration. - Mass Airflow Meter and Manifold Absolute Pressure voltages. - Engine tachometer. - Throttle Position Sensor. - Manifold pressure.
